Aziderm 10% Cream is for external use only. You should always use it exactly as prescribed. Both the affected area and your hands should be clean and dry before application. Use this medicine regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not use more than you need as it will not clear your condition faster and some side effects may be increased. If your condition goes on for longer than four weeks or gets worse at any time, let your doctor know. You can help this medication work better by keeping the affected areas clean.
Aziderm 10% Cream has a few potential side effects but not everyone will get them. These include application site reactions like burning, irritation, itching, and redness. Let your doctor know if you’re bothered by these or they do not go away. Avoid getting the medicine in your eye. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or plan to become pregnant, you should consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Treatment of Acne (pimples) and Rosacea.
Aziderm 10% Cream treats acne (pimpl
es) and rosacea (redness and visible blood vessels on the face). It contains ‘Azelaic acid’, a dicarboxylic acid with antibacterial, keratolytic (removes warts, calluses and other lesions), comedolytic (inhibiting the formation of blemishes), and antioxidant activity. Aziderm 10% Cream is bactericidal and inhibits the synthesis of microbial cellular proteins. It clears the pores of bacteria that cause irritation and breakouts. It also reduces inflammation, making acne less visible, less red, and less irritated. Aziderm 10% Cream also helps the skin renew itself and reduces pimple and blackhead formation.
Cream/Gel/Lotion/Serum: Take the advised amount with clean and dry hands and apply to the skin’s affected areas. Gently massage the medicine into the skin with your fingers. Wash your hands before and after applying. Do not put dressing or bandage on the affected areas. Cleansing bar/Soap: Work the soap into a nice lather and apply it on the affected areas with your hands. Gently massage in circular motions and rinse off with clean water.Foam: Apply a generous amount onto the affected areas with your hands and massage it with your fingers. Rinse off with clean water.
