Ketoconazole LS BL Cream is a medicated topical cream formulated for the treatment of fungal and inflammatory skin conditions. It combines a powerful antifungal agent with an anti?inflammatory steroid to both eliminate infection and reduce irritation.

The active ingredient ketoconazole works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell membranes. Without ergosterol, the fungal cell membrane becomes unstable, leading to leakage of essential cell contents and eventually death or inhibition of fungal growth. This mechanism helps stop the infection from spreading and eliminates the fungi causing the symptoms.
Clean and dry the affected area before applying the cream.
Apply a thin layer of the cream to the infected skin and surrounding area, usually once or twice daily or as directed by your doctor.
Gently rub it in until the cream is absorbed.
Wash hands after application unless the treatment area includes the hands.
Continue treatment for the full duration prescribed, even if symptoms improve early, to prevent recurrence.
